From celebrities to Indian citizens, all are taking a part in the Lok Sabha elections 2019. Some celebrities also declares that they have voted and ask their fans for vote. Lok Sabha elections 2019 started on April 11 and it will continue to May 19. Election season has been started in India and everyone is getting excited to cast their vote for the deserving one. But, some of the celebrities in B-TOWN and one of our Indian cricketers are not allowed to cast their vote. Let’s talk about why are they not able to vote for India Lok Sabha elections.

 Akshay Kumar

The famous Indian actor is not allowed to cast his vote. Because, he is holding a Canadian passport. So, now he had no right to vote in Indian elections.

Deepika Padukone

She holds a Danish passport and their citizenship. Because, she was born in Denmark and grew up in Bangalore. Although, she is one of the top actresses of Bollywood and she is famous for her mind blowing acting skills.

Alia Bhatt

She holds a British passport and their citizenship. Her mother Soni Razdan is also a British Citizen. If she gets Indian passport and gives up the British citizenship she will be able to cast her vote in India.

Imraan Khan

One of the bollywood acto Imraan Khan can’t cast his vote too. The nephew of Aamir Khan holds an American passport. If he gives up the American citizenship he will be able to cast her vote in India.

Katrina Kaif

Many of us knows that Katrina holds U.S passport. So, she can’t vote in Lok Sabha elections 2019. She is also a good actress and famous for her acting skills.

 Sunny Leone

Karenjit Kaur (Sunny Leone) is a well known actress for everyone, she holds a Canadian passport. The actress can’t vote and this is the only reason. Recently, she has made many hit films in India. But, as you can read she is not able to cast her vote in India.

Jacqueline Fernandez

The actress was born in Bahrain. Her mother was from Malaysia and her father holds Sri Lankan citizenship. These are the reasons that, she is not eligible to vote in the elections in India.

 Rahul Dravid

With the famous celebrities one of the best Indian cricketers not able to cast his vote. Because, he shifted home to northern Bengaluru. He did not register his name in the voters list. Dravid was out of city and he did not apply on Form 6 which is for enrolling the voters of India.
