Gems of rural folk music Kalikaprasad dies in an accident, Bengali music Industry endeavour’s a tearful adieu

    Bengal’s popular folk singer Kalikaprasad Bhattacharjee dies in a fatal car accident this morning. The Tollywood industry is still shell shocked at the sudden demise. Police said that the car was speeding at 90km/hr when a tyre gave colliding with a culvert and thereafter rolling over and falling into the nayanjuli.  Four other band members of “Dohar” who were also travelling with him in the car, we’re immediately admitted the burdwan medical college hospital for treatment. Kalikaprasad was declared brought dead on arrival while condition of others stated be extremely critical. The singer lent his voice in films like moner manush(2010), jatishwar(2014), and Bhuban majhi( 2017).
