Chandrachur Singh is a 50 years old well-known Indian actor. Singh made his acting debut in 1996 in Tere Mere Sapne which was produced under Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Limited. Later that year he starred alongside Tabu in Maachis for which he won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. But you will be surprised for sure when you hear it, yes! His brother Abhimanyu Singh is now became a famous Bollywood actor.He was born in Sonpur, Bihar. He worked on many Tamil movies. Mostly, we have seen him in the role of Bollywood villen. He appeared on many hindi serials too.
At first, he was appeared in the movie ‘Aks’ in 2001. The movie was directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. In 2009, with the role of Rananjay Singh in the movie ‘Gulaal’ he got his first break. The movie Gulaal was directed by the famous director Anurag Kashyap. He had won Stardust Award in 2010, for the outstanding performance of the movie ‘Gulaal’. In the same year, one of his most praised movie ‘Rakta Charitra’ was released which is directed by Ram Gopal Varma. After that movie he had worked on many films and serials. Abhimanyu Singh was recently working on a Tamil movie. He just completed the shot for the Tamil film ‘Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru’ as main villain. Recently, he is working on a hindi film ‘Genius’ which is directed by famous ‘Gadar’ movie director Anil Sharma.
Chandrachur Singh, brother of Abhimanyu Singh had appeared in several movies as a leading actor. He also worked in lead roles in multi-starer films. In different categories, on two occasions he was nominated for Filmfare awards in his bollywood career. Also, in 1996 he had won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut in the movie ‘Maachis’. While water skiing in Goa he had suffered with multiple dislocations of his shoulder joint. It was the reason which caused his weight gain and lose roles. That time, three movies from 2001 – 2006 flopped at the box office. In 2012, he has made a comeback multi-starer film. From 2012 to now he is working in Bollywood industry. Both of the brothers are still working for bollywood industry. We eager to see more Hindi and Tamil films starred by singh brothers.
