Glamour and heritage seamlessly blended as 109 contestants from around the globe, competing in Miss World 2025, gathered at Hyderabad’s iconic Charminar for a stunning photo session. As part of the event’s cultural campaign, these international beauty ambassadors interacted with excited fans while posing in front of the majestic 16th-century monument. Dressed in colorful outfits, contestants from countries like Australia, Poland, and more illuminated the city’s historic landmark, merging global elegance with local charm. This gathering was a major highlight of their itinerary, adding a touch of grace to the vibrant streets of Hyderabad’s Old City.

A Royal Stroll Through Laad Bazaar

After their photo session at Charminar, the contestants continued their cultural journey with a special visit to the renowned Laad Bazaar, also known as Chudi Bazaar. The Miss World 2025 delegates wandered through the vibrant lanes, famous for their sparkling bangles, pearls, and intricate zari work. Their shopping adventure led them to nine carefully selected heritage stores:

  • Motilal Karwa
  • Gokuldas Zariwala

A Spiritual Journey to Buddhavanam on Buddha Purnima

The celebrations continued beyond the bangles and photo ops. On Monday, contestants from the Asian and Oceanic regions embarked on a peaceful detour to Buddhavanam, a prominent Buddhist heritage site located at Nagarjunasagar in Telangana’s Nalgonda district. Their visit, timed perfectly with Buddha Purnima, infused a spiritual element into the otherwise glamorous event.

The day’s itinerary included a picturesque stop at a guest house near Chintapalli, followed by a scenic photo session at Vijay Vihar, with the serene Nagarjunasagar reservoir as the backdrop. The cultural excursion was designed to highlight Telangana’s rich spiritual and historical heritage.
