Parambrata-Raima Starrer ‘Reunion’ is going to commercially released in UAE !
Reunion is proud to achieve the feat of being the first film from WB to get commercially released in UAE. Film Reunion will release in 15 theatres across UAE on 2nd May and the gala premiere is being held on 1 st May 2019. Many bollywood and tollywood celebrities will be present in this gala event in Dubai.
In the movie ‘Reunion’ which is directed by Murari M Rakshit we can see Parambrata chatterjee in a lead role. Some other stars of the film are Raima Sen, Samadarshi Dutta, Sourav Das, Indrasish Roy, Saayoni Ghosh and others in pivotal roles. Also, one interesting thing is Murari M Rakshit’s ‘Reunion’ is set to reunite Parambrata Chatterjee and Raima Sen after a long time period.
‘Reunion’ movie is about the politics of college life of 90s and its effects on the students. In this story Parambrata plays the lead role of an ex-college student. Whereas, Raima will be seen as Param’s close friend. The story revolves around a group of boys and girls who came to University in the 1995 batch and their reunion after almost 20 years. When the group finally meets, they saw their one of the seniors (Parambrata) is now in a village near Darjeeling. He decides to dedicate his life to the villagers in the hilly area, as his friends start dreaming of reuniting with him again and thus decide to bring him back to Kolkata for treatment and arrange for a Reunion. We will see Raima as a independent lady Monideepa who had a crush on Parambrata’s character from college life.
Raima said about her character in ‘Reunion’, “I am Monideepa in this film, a nice sophisticated, independent lady. My character has an exact idea about what she wants in life. She prefers to go by her own opinions and agenda. Parambrata and I was once batchmate in college. We meet again after a gap of 20 long years. Not just we, but all of us, a group of former college students. The story revolves around friendship, politics, love, and romance. I won’t reveal much for now.”
For the interesting storyline the movie ‘Reunion’ started gaining viewers attention. The movie was released in 7 December, 2018. Now, it’s going to commercially released in UAE in 2nd May.
