Xiaomi could launch the Redmi 4 and Redmi 4 Prime in India soon

       Before the Redmi 4A was formally launched, it was rumoured that Xiaomi’s upcoming smartphone in India would be the next-generation Redmi 4 or its variant, the Redmi 4 Prime. But while Xiaomi did not end up launching the Redmi 4, it nonetheless did release a teaser that hinted that the Redmi 4 and the Redmi 4 Prime could be expected to launch soon in the country. Xiaomi India’s VP Manu Jain along with Redmi India tweeted the teaser image, and it shows the curved glass display seen on the Redmi 4 launched in China last November.

To recap on the specifications,The Redmi 4 comes with a 5 inch HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display with a pixel resolution of 1280x720p. There is 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage space which can be expanded to up to 128GB using a microSD card. The phone also has a hybrid Dual SIM slot with one slot for the Micro-SIM, another for a Nano-SIM or a microSD card. The device has a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, at the front; it has a 5-megapixel camera with F2.2 aperture.A 4000mAh battery powers the device. In comparison, the Redmi 4 Prime sports a 5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display, a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of inbuilt storage. Apart from this, all other specifications match the Redmi 4.For network connectivity, the phone comes equipped with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS with GLONASS. There is a 4000mAh battery.
